Draws a donut-shaped entity as a 3D mesh. A torus is defined by two radius values: one for the tube and another from the center of the torus to the center of the tube.

 

  1. Specify the center point of the torus.
  2. Specify the radius of the whole torus.
  3. Specify the radius of the tube.

You can draw a torus with no center, a self-intersecting torus, by specifying that the radius of the tube is greater than the radius of the torus.

Center of torus <0,0,0>: Specify the center point of the torus.

Diameter ◆ <Radius of whole torus>: Specify a second point for the radius of the torus, or enter a value in drawing units. To specify the diameter of the whole torus, choose Diameter. The whole torus is measured from the center of the torus to the center of the tube.

Diameter ◆ <Radius of body of torus>: Specify two points for the radius of the body of the torus, or enter a value in drawing units. To specify the diameter of the body of the torus, choose Diameter. The body of the torus is the tube.

Number of longitudinal sections <16>: Enter the number of sections that are perpendicular to the xy plane.

Number of latitudinal sections<16>: Enter the number of sections that are parallel to the xy plane.
