Copies entity data of the selected entities.

Copy Entity Data: ? to list application names ◆ <Name of application>: Enter the name of the application that created the entity data. To specify all applications, enter *. To see a list of application names registered in the current drawing, press ?.

Select entity from which to copy Entity Data: Select the entity containing the entity data you want to copy.

Select entities to which Entity Data will be copied: Select the entities to which you want to copy the entity data. If the entity to which you are copying contains entity data, you are prompted whether you want to overwrite existing entity data. Choose Yes to overwrite existing entity data, or choose No to keep the existing entity data.

You can attach entity data to any entity. Standard data associated with an entity consists of layer, linetype, color, linetype scale, and so on. There is also data that is specific to the type of entity, such as the start and endpoints of a line, the diameter of a circle, and so on. In addition, you can add application-specific data to entities. Multiple applications can add data to the same entity. You can move or copy this data to other entities, and you can delete the data associated with a specific entity.
