Draws an architectural curtain wall.

To draw a curtain wall with the current values

Specify start point of curtain wall or [Height/Style<Standard>/Convert]: Specify the start point of the curtain wall.

Specify end point of curtain wall or enter the segment length or [Height<96.0000>/Arc/Undo]: Specify the endpoint of each segment, then press Enter when done.

To draw a curtain wall with specific values

Specify start point of curtain wall or [Height/Style<Standard>/Convert]: Choose Height.

Specify curtain wall height <96.0000>: Enter the height of the curtain wall.

Specify start point of curtain wall or [Height/Style<Standard>/Convert]: Choose Style.

? to list/Specify curtain wall style <Standard>: Enter the name of the curtain wall style. To view the list of all styles, choose ?.

Specify start point of curtain wall or [Height/Style<Standard>/Convert]: Specify the start point of the curtain wall.

Specify end point of curtain wall or enter the segment length or [Height<96.0000>/Arc/Undo]: Specify the endpoint of each segment, then press Enter when done. Choose Arc to add an arc segment to the curtain wall and follow the prompts. Choose Close to add the last endpoint at the start point.

To convert 2D entities to curtain walls

Specify start point of curtain wall or [Height/Style<Standard>/Convert]: Choose Convert.

Select lines, arcs, circles, or polylines to be converted to curtain walls: Select the two-dimensional entities to convert to curtain walls, then press Enter.

Erase layout geometry? [Yes/No] <No>: Choose Yes to delete the selected two-dimensional entities. Choose No to retain the selected two-dimensional entities.

To add an arc segment to the curtain wall

Specify start point of curtain wall or [Height/Style<Standard>/Convert]: Specify the start point of the curtain wall.

Specify end point of curtain wall or enter the segment length or [Height<96.0000>/Arc/Undo]: Choose Arc.

Specify mid point of arc segment or [Height<96.0000>/Line/Undo]: Specify the midpoint of the arc segment.

Specify end point of arc segment or [Height<96.0000>/Line/Close/Undo]: Specify the end point of the arc segment. To exit arc mode and continue adding line segments, choose Line. Choose Close to add the last endpoint at the start point.


Edit the curtain wall.

After you draw a curtain wall, you can modify it as you would other entities using modify entity commands. You can also use the Properties pane to change settings for divisions, infill, mullion and frame. And when you select a curtain wall, grips display allowing you to resize and reorient the curtain wall in real-time.
