Experience Level: Intermediate

Continues a linear, angular, or ordinate dimension from a previous dimension. If no dimension was created in the previous session, you are prompted to select a linear, ordinate, or angular dimension to use as the base dimension. The program uses the first extension line of the base dimension as the first extension line for the next dimension.

Baseline: ENTER to select starting dimension ◆ <Origin of next extension line>: To specify the origin of the next extension line, the default setting, specify a point. To select the starting dimension, press Enter.

To select the origin of the next extension line

Place a point for the origin of the next extension line.

Dimension text <value>: To accept the current value, press Enter. To change the dimension text, enter new text.

To select the starting dimension

 

  1. Select the dimension you want to use as the baseline
  2. Specify the origin of the next extension line.
  3. Specify the origin of the next extension line, and so on.

 

Result.
