Continues a dimension. The program uses the final extension line of the starting dimension as the first extension line for the continued dimension.

 

  1. Select the starting dimension.
  2. Specify the point for the continued dimension.
  3. Specify another point to continue the dimension, and so on.

 

Result.

Continue: ENTER to select starting dimension ◆ <Origin of next extension line>: Specify the start of the next extension line, or press Enter to select the starting dimension.

To specify the origin of the next extension line

Specify the start point of the next extension line.

Dimension text <value>: Enter the new dimension text, if any, or press Enter to accept the text displayed.

To select the starting dimension

Press Enter.

Select dimension to continue: Select the dimension to continue.

Continue: ENTER to select starting dimension ◆ <Origin of next extension line>: Specify the start of the next extension line, or press Enter to select the starting dimension.
