Toolbar: Tools > Explorer

Ribbon: Tools > Explorer (in Explorer); View > Explorer (in Panes)

Menu: View > Display > Explorer; Tools > Explorer

Keyboard: _EXPLORER, DESIGNCENTER (display as dialog)

Alias: ADCENTER (display as dialog)

Displays the Explorer so you can view, create, copy, or edit different elements of your drawing. When the Explorer displays in a dialog window, you can also use it to copy these elements from one open drawing to another. The Explorer is a great way to manage and maintain your drawings.

Actions that you perform in the Explorer window are similar to those you perform in the Windows Explorer - you can cut, copy, paste, delete, rename, and sort the columns.

For more information on how to manage different Explorer elements, click the element type.

NOTE Use the EXPPALETTES system variable to control how you want the Explorer to display.

Type DESIGNCENTER to open the Explorer as a dialog box regardless of the EXPPALETTES value.
