Keyboard: _FM3DCONVERT

Converts one type of 3D entity to a different type of 3D entity. You can convert 3D solids to facet model meshes, facet model meshes to polyface meshes, and polyface meshes to facet model meshes.

Enter an option [Solid/Facet model/Mesh] <eXit>: To convert 3D solids to facet model meshes, choose Solid. To convert facet model meshes to meshes, choose Facet model. To convert meshes to facet model meshes, choose Mesh.

To convert 3D solid entities to facet model mesh entities

Enter an option [Solid/Facet model/Mesh] <eXit>: Choose Solid.

Select 3D solid to convert to facet model: Select one or more 3D solid entities that you want to convert to facet model meshes, then press Enter when done.

To convert facet model mesh entities to meshes

Enter an option [Solid/Facet model/Mesh] <eXit>: Choose Facet model.

Select facet model to convert to polyface mesh: Select the facet model mesh entities that you want to convert to polyface meshes, then press Enter when done.

To convert polyface mesh entities to facet model meshes

Enter an option [Solid/Facet model/Mesh] <eXit>: Choose Mesh.

Select mesh to convert to facet model: Select the polyface mesh entities that you want to convert to facet model meshes, then press Enter when done.
