( Toolbar: Format > Layer Tools > Layer Delete Ribbon: Home > Layer Delete (in Layers) Menu: Format > Layer Tools > Layer Delete Keyboard: _LAYDEL Deletes all entities on a layer and the layer itself. If entities within a block are assigned the layer being deleted, those entities are also deleted and the affected block is redefined. Select an entity to delete a layer or [Name]: Select an entity on the layer that you want to delete. To specify the name of the layer that you want to delete, choose Name.
