Add/Delete Scales (command line version): OBJECTSCALE

Keyboard: -_OBJECTSCALE (or OBJECTSCALE for dialog box version)

Assigns or removes annotation scales to one or more entities. Annotation scaling allows you to control certain entities so their size will consistently display when a drawing is displayed or printed.

Entities that can have an annotation scale include text, multiline text, tolerances, dimensions, leaders, multileaders, attributes, hatches, and blocks.

To assign annotation scales to entities

FILter/<Select entities>: Select the annotative entities.

Enter an option [Add/Delete/?] <Add>: Choose Add.

Enter named scale to add or [?] <4:1>: Enter the annotation scale to assign, or enter ? to view a list of available annotation scales. To customize the list of available annotation scales, use the Scale List command.

To remove assigned annotation scales from entities

FILter/<Select entities>: Select the annotative entities.

Enter an option [Add/Delete/?] <Add>: Choose Delete.

Enter named scale to delete or [?] <4:1>: Enter the assigned annotation scale to remove from selected entities, or enter ? to view a list of currently assigned annotation scales.
