Displays the Sheet Set Manager pane which allows you to view, organize, and publish sheet sets. A sheet set is a collection of sheets (layouts) in a drawing.

New Click to create a sheet set from a template or from existing drawings. The New Sheet Set wizard displays.

Open Click to open an existing sheet set. In the dialog box that displays, navigate to and select a .dst file, then click Open.

Publish Choose how you want to publish the sheet set:

  • Publish to PDF The entire sheet set prints to PDF. In the dialog box that displays, select a name and location for the output .pdf file, then click Save.
  • Publish to DWF The entire sheet set prints to DWF. In the dialog box that displays, select a name and location for the output .dwf file, then click Save.
  • Publish to DWFx The entire sheet set prints to DWFx. In the dialog box that displays, select a name and location for the output .dwfx file, then click Save.
  • Publish to Printer The entire sheet set prints to a printer. The Print dialog box displays.
  • Sheet Set PDF Publish Options View and change the options that are used when publishing to PDF. The PDF Publish Options dialog box displays.
  • Sheet Set DWF Publish Options View and change the options that are used when publishing to DWF and DWFx. The DWF Publish Options dialog box displays.

Sheet List Displays the contents of the open sheet set: sheet set name, subset names, and sheet names. Note that sheet names display with the sheet number, drawing name, and layout name. Right-click an item in the list to choose options:

  • Close Sheet Set Unloads the sheet set. (Available only when you right-click the name of a sheet set.)
  • Open Opens the sheet's corresponding Layout tab of the referenced drawing. If Open is unavailable, double-click the sheet instead to link it to the corresponding drawing. (Available only when you right-click a sheet.)
  • New Sheet Creates a new sheet in the New Sheet dialog box and adds it below the item you right-clicked. If you are adding a sheet to a sheet set or subset that is set up to prompt for a template, the Select Layout as Sheet Template dialog box displays before the New Sheet dialog box.
  • New Subset Creates a new subset and add it below the item you right-clicked. The Subset Properties dialog box displays. (Available only when you right-click a sheet set or subset.)
  • Import Layout as Sheet Creates a sheet from an existing layout using the Import Layouts as Sheets dialog box.
  • Remove Sheet Deletes the sheet.
  • Rename and Renumber Changes the name or number of the sheet in the Sheet Properties dialog box.
  • Publish Allows you to publish the sheet set, subset, or individual sheet directly to PDF, DWF, DWFx, or a printer. Or you can choose to set publish options without printing by choosing Sheet Set PDF Publish Options or the Sheet Set DWF Publish Options.
  • eTransmit Prepares the sheet set, subset, or individual sheet for transfer to another computer using the eTransmit dialog box.
  • Properties Displays properties for a sheet set, subset, or sheet, depending on what you right-clicked. The Sheet Set Properties, Subset Properties, or Sheet Properties dialog box displays where you can view and change properties.
