Keyboard: _SPOTLIGHT

Adds a spot light to your drawing for rendering. A spot light shines light in the shape of a cone from its location towards the direction you specify when the drawing is displayed using visual styles that support rendering (Realistic, Conceptual, Shaded, etc.). Spot lights can also be used when rendering drawings in Artisan Renderer (in versions of CADdirect that support it), but not the Full Render command.

Specify source location <0.0000,0.0000,0.0000>: Enter the x-, y-, and z-coordinates of where to place the spot light, or click the location in the drawing.

Specify target location <0.0000,0.0000,-10.0000>: Enter the x-, y-, and z-coordinates of the location you want to shine light, or click the location in the drawing.

Edit the spot light.

You can move and copy spot lights in your drawing, just as you would any other entity. To specify settings for the spot light, such as color and intensity, right-click the spot light, choose Properties, and make your selections in the Properties pane. And when you select a spot light, grips display allowing you to change the light and target location, cone size and fall-off size.
