( Toolbar: Modify > Stretch Ribbon: Home > Stretch (in Modify); Edit > Stretch (in Modify) Menu: Modify > Stretch Keyboard: _STRETCH Alias: S Experience Level: Intermediate Moves a portion of a drawing while retaining connections to other parts of the drawing. You can stretch lines, polyline segments, rays, splines, arcs, and elliptical arcs.
Select entities to stretch by crossing-window or crossing-polygon: Choose the entities you want to stretch by drawing a crossing window or a crossing polygon, and then press Enter. The end points within the crossing window or crossing polygon are moved, leaving the other end points in their original location. Entities entirely within the crossing window or crossing polygon are moved, not stretched. Base point or displacement: Specify the point that you want used for the base or displacement point. Second point of displacement: Specify a second point to indicate the distance you want the entities stretched (the distance from the first to the second point). To use the first point you selected as the x,y displacement point, press Enter. Tell me about...How do I... |
