Keyboard: _STEEL, +_STEEL

Creates two- and three-dimensional steel shapes of different types. The Steel dialog box opens, which allows you to select different shapes and choose from a table of standard sizes.

Insertion point or [XFlip/YFlip]: Specify the insertion point for the steel shape. To mirror the steel shape about its x-axis, choose XFlip. To mirror the steel shape about its y-axis, choose YFlip.

Rotation angle <0>: Specify the angle of rotation for the steel shape.

Specify length <0>: Specify the length of the steel shape. If the length is 0, a two-dimensional shape is created.


NOTE To open the Steel dialog box at a certain tab that you most frequently use, use the +STEEL command and specify the tab index.
