Customize - Quick Access Toolbars

Use the Customize User Interface dialog box to create or modify quick access toolbars for the ribbon. A quick access toolbar displays to the right of the Application Button at the top of the user interface and displays common commands.

In the Customize User Interface dialog box, click the Customize tab, select either a workspace or a customization file (for example, ICAD), then expand Quick Access Toolbars in the list.

To add a new quick access toolbar

Right-click a quick access toolbar in the list, then choose Insert Quick Access Toolbar. The new quick access toolbar will be inserted above your selection in the list.

Type the quick access toolbar name, and then press Enter.

To add a command to a quick access toolbar

Drag a command from the Command List to the quick access toolbar area of the Customization list.

Or, do the following:

• Right-click a command in the Quick Access Toolbar list and choose Insert Command Button.
• Type the name, and then press Enter. The command is inserted below your selection in the list.
• In Properties, enter the command name for the item in Command Name.

To specify button images and properties for an item on a quick access toolbar

Select an item on a quick access toolbar in the Customization list.

Depending on your selection, Button Image and/or Properties areas display on the right. Specify the desired options for the selected item. For more details, see Customize tab > Button Image and Customize tab > Properties.

To copy and paste a quick access toolbar

Right-click the quick access toolbar in the list, then choose Copy.

Right-click where you want to locate the copy, then click Paste.

To remove a quick access toolbar

Right-click the quick access toolbar in the list, then choose Delete. The program prompts whether you are sure you want to remove the quick access toolbar. To remove it, choose Yes. To keep it, choose No.
