Drawing Window Colors dialog box

Specify different color arrangements for model space, paper space, the command bar, and the block editor. Colors can be specified for many window items, including background, cursor crosshairs, grid, grips, and much more.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Context Select an area of the drawing window that contains the colors you want to specify.

Items Select the item for which you want to specify a color. The available items depend on the context you select. For example, to help differentiate the x-, y-, and z-axes in model space, a different color can be assigned to the crosshairs of each axis using UCS Icon items.

Color Select a color for the selected item. For more colors or to create a custom color, from the list, choose Select Color to open the Color dialog box.

On/Off Turns display of the selected item on or off (available if the selected item can be turned off).

Current Item Click to restore the default color for the selected item, such as the background.

Current Context Click to restore the default color of each item in the selected context, such as paper space.

All Colors Click to restore the default color of all items in all contexts. Note that all custom color selections for the drawing window will be lost unless they have been saved to a color scheme.

Load Click to select a color scheme (.xml or .clr file) and load it.

Save Click to save the current color selections in a color scheme file.
