Options - Selection Cycling tab

Use this tab to specify which method you want to use when selecting entities that overlap.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Cycling Method for Overlapping Entities Choose one of the following:

  • Ctrl + click to cycle Press Ctrl with a mouse click to cycle through overlapping entities.
  • Multi-click to cycle Use multiple mouse clicks to cycle through overlapping entities.
  • Shift + Spacebar to cycle Press Shift + Spacebar to cycle through overlapping entities.

    (These options correspond to the SELECTIONCYCLINGMODE system variable.)

Enable visual aids for selection cycling (Ctrl+W) Mark to turn on visual aids when selecting entities that overlap. (This setting corresponds to the SELECTIONCYCLING system variable.)

Display an icon when hovering over overlapping entities Mark to display an icon at the cursor when you hover over overlapping entities. (This setting corresponds to the SELECTIONCYCLING system variable.)

Display a list when selecting overlapping entities Mark to display a Selection Cycling list when you select overlapping entities. (This setting corresponds to the SELECTIONCYCLING system variable.)
