DWF Publish Options dialog box

The DWF Publish Options dialog box allows you to customize various options for publishing to .dwf or .dwfx files. This dialog box opens when you click Publish Options in the Publish dialog box after you choose DWF or DWFx in Publish to or when you publish from the Sheet Set Manager.

DIALOG BOX OPTIONS

Location Displays where files will be saved when publishing to a file. To specify a different location, enter the path or click [...] to navigate to it and select it.

Type Select one of the following:

• Single-sheet file Publishes all sheets to a single file.
• Multi-sheet file Publishes each sheet to its own file.

Naming Select one of the following:

• Prompt for name Prompts for a filename and location during the publishing process.
• Specify name Allows you to enter a name below.

Name Enter the location and name for the published file. This option is available if Specify Name is selected in Naming.

Layer Information Select whether to include layer information when publishing to files.

Merge Control Select one of the following:

• Lines overwrite Overlapping lines include only the last line when publishing to files.
• Lines merge Overlapping lines merge together when publishing to files.

Password Protection Select one of the following:

• Disabled No password is required for the published file.
• Prompt for password Requires a password for the published file; you will be prompted to enter the password when you click Publish.
• Specify password Requires a password for the published file; enter the password below. Keep the password in a safe place. It cannot be retrieved.

Password Enter the password to assign to the file. This option is available if Specify Password is selected in Password Protection. Keep the password in a safe place. It cannot be retrieved.
