Custom Paper Size wizard

Use this wizard to create or modify a custom paper size. This wizard opens from the Printer Configuration Editor dialog box when you click Edit for a standard paper size or click Add or Edit for a custom paper size.

If modifying a standard paper size, you are prompted to define the printable area and .pmp file name only.

If creating or modifying a custom paper size, select whether to create an entirely new paper size or to start with an existing paper size that you select.

Each paper size contains the following:

  • Media bounds — Enter the width and height of the paper, in millimeters or inches.
  • Printable area — Enter the values for the top, bottom, left, and right margins of the paper to specify the printable area.
  • Paper size name — Enter a name for the paper size that will display in the list of custom paper sizes.
  • File name — Enter a .pmp filename where the paper size is to be saved. If a .pmp file is already attached to the .pc3 file in the Printer Configuration Editor dialog box, you are not prompted for a .pmp filename; the modified settings are stored automatically in the attached .pmp file. If a .pmp file was not previously attached to the .pc3 file, a .pmp file is created and attached automatically using the name you specify.
