Variable: REGENONZOOMFACTOR

Sets the zoom factor threshold for automatic regeneration when working in a drawing and zooming in and REGENMODE is turned on (set to 1). If the current zoom factor (calculated from the last REGEN operation) is less than the specified value, automatic regeneration is performed.

Complex entities like text and polylines can display with a reduced number of vectors which can cause a rough appearance. Higher zoom factor numbers increase regenerations while zooming in, slows ZOOM performance; lower zoom factor numbers decrease regenerations while zooming in, improves ZOOM performance, but reduces the display quality for complex entities.
