Subject: Clipping images in the shape of a polygon or rectangle

To clip an image in the shape of a polygon or rectangle

   1   Do one of the following to choose Clip Image ():

   On the ribbon, choose Insert > Clip Image (in Data).

   On the menu, choose Insert > Image > Clip Image.

   On the Image toolbar, click the Clip Image tool.

   Type imageclip and then press Enter.

   2   Select the edge of the image you want to clip.

   3   Choose New Boundary to create a new clipping boundary.

   4   By default, only the portion of the image located within the clipping polygon will be visible. If you want to invert the clip, that is, hide the area inside the boundary and make the outer portion visible, choose Invert Clip before the next step.

   5   Choose one of the following:

   Polygonal, then select the points for the polygon, and press Enter when the polygon is complete.

   Rectangular, then select the first and opposite corners of the clipping rectangle.
