Subject: Importing an OBJ format file

OBJ (Wavefront Technologies object) is a format that is typically used in three-dimensional modelers and for three-dimensional printing. It contains geometry such as points, lines, texture vertices, faces, curves, and surfaces.

OBJ model data is imported as mesh entities.

To import an OBJ format file

   1   Do one of the following to choose OBJ In ():

   On the ribbon, choose the Application button > Import > OBJ In, or choose Insert > OBJ In (in Import).

   On the menu, choose File > Import > OBJ In.

   Type objin and then press Enter.

   2   Choose the .obj file you want to import.

   3   Click Open.

Processing begins.

   4   Zoom to extents to see the imported entities.
