Subject: Tapering solid faces

To taper a solid face

1 Do one of the following to choose Taper Face ():

• On the ribbon, choose Draw 3D > Taper Face (in Solids Editing).

• On the menu, choose Modify > Solids Editing > Taper Faces.

• On the Solids Editing toolbar, click the Taper Face tool.

2 Select the entity with the face you want to taper.

3 Select the face(s) to taper, and press Enter.

4 Specify a base point.

5 Specify another point along the axis.

6 Specify a taper angle.


Select the entity, and then specify the face(s) to taper (A), a base point, a second point along the taper axis, and a taper angle.		The resulting entity with the face tapered to position (D).
