Subject: Drawing wood

Wood details can be drawn as lumber and TJI joists shapes in many different standard sizes.

To draw wood

   1   Do one of the following to choose Wood ():

   On the ribbon, choose Draw > Wood and then Lumber or TJI Joists (in AEC Entities).

   On the menu, choose Draw > AEC Entities > Detailing > Wood and then Lumber or TJI Joists.

   Type wood and then press Enter.

   2   Select the desired dimensions from the list.

   3   Click OK.

   4   To mirror the shape about its x-axis, choose XFlip. To mirror the shape about its y-axis, choose YFlip.

   5   Specify the insertion point.

   6   Specify the angle of rotation.

   7   Specify the length. If the length is 0, a two-dimensional shape is created.
