Subject: Getting drawing information

CADdirect stores accurate, detailed information about all the entities in a drawing. You can get details about an existing drawing and its entities using the tools for mea­suring distances and calculating areas. You can also track the amount of time you spend editing a drawing. This section explains how to:

   Measure distances along an entity.

   Measure distances and angles.

   Divide an entity into a number of equal segments.

   Calculate areas.

   Display information about entities in a drawing.

   Track the amount of time spent editing a drawing.
