Draws a three-dimensional cylinder as an ACIS solid, with a round or elliptical cross-section and vertical or slanted sides.

Elliptical · <Center of base of cylinder> <0,0,0>: Specify the center of the base of the cylinder. Choose Elliptical for a cylinder with an elliptical cross-section.

Diameter · <Radius of cylinder>: Enter the radius of the base of the cylinder, or specify a second point to indicate the radius. To specify the diameter of the base, choose Diameter, and then enter the diameter or specify two points.

Center of second end · 2Point · <Height of cylinder>: To create a vertical cylinder, enter the height of the cylinder, or specify two points to indicate the height. For a cylinder with a slanted wall, enter C to specify the center point for the second end. To specify the height by picking two points, choose 2Point and then select the two points.

To draw a cylinder by specifying the diameter

Choose Diameter.

Diameter of cylinder: Specify the diameter of the cylinder.

Height of cylinder: Enter the height of the cylinder, or specify two points to indicate the height.

To draw a cylinder with an elliptical base

Choose Elliptical.

Center · <First end of ellipse base>: Specify the first end of an ellipse representing the base of the cylinder. This ellipse is drawn based on the length of one axis and the half-length of the second axis. Choose Center to draw the elliptical base based on a center point and the endpoints of the minor and major axes.
