Multiline Text Options Menu |

Click the arrow button for the Multiline Text Options menu. Note that selections on the Multiline Text Options menu do not display in the Multiline Text dialog box, but they do display correctly in the drawing. Choose from the following options: Overline Turns overline on or off for selected multiline text. Width Factor Sets the font width factor to apply to selected multiline text. Set the width factor in the Width Factor dialog box. Tracking Factor Sets the spacing between letters for selected multiline text. Set the tracking factor in the Tracking Factor dialog box. Oblique Angle Sets the angle of selected multiline text. Set the oblique angle in the Oblique Angle dialog box. Stack/Unstack Stacks or unstacks selected multiline text, for example, fractions can display as stacked text. Stacked text displays with a dark red background in the Multiline Text dialog box. Vertical Alignment Select to align the multiline text at the top, middle, or bottom of the text box. Paragraph Alignment Select how to align paragraphs within the text box. Paragraph Settings Sets paragraph tabs, alignment, spacing, and indents in the Paragraph Settings dialog box. AutoNumber Turns AutoNumber on or off for selected multiline text. Number/List Settings Sets number and list formatting the Number/List Settings dialog box. Column Settings Sets the column settings in the Column Settings dialog box. Next Column Inserts "\N" (next column) where the cursor is located in the multiline text.
Usually, multi-column text wraps lines and creates a new column according to the defined text box height. Background Settings Sets the background settings the Background Settings dialog box. Preferences Sets general preference settings the Preferences dialog box. Insert Symbol Select a symbol to insert where the cursor is located in the multiline text, or click Other to select a symbol that is not listed on the menu. Remove Formatting Clears character, paragraph, or all formatting from the text selected in the Multiline Text dialog box. Tell me about...How do I... |
