Add Print Style Table wizard

Use this wizard to create a new print style table. Print style tables help you control what your drawing looks like when it is printed. Rather than describe what an entity looks like on your screen, print style tables describe what an entity will look like when you print it.

Each print style table is saved in a file that can be located on your computer, a disk, or server. There are two types of print style tables:

  • Color-dependent print style tables (CTB) contain a collection of print styles based on each of the 255 colors available in a drawing.
  • Named print style tables (STB) contain a collection of print styles that you define. They can vary regardless of color.

On the last page of the wizard, you can modify the print styles that are saved with the table. Click Print Style Table Editor to open the Print Style Table Editor dialog box to further customize how the print style table affects a printed drawing.
